About
Join the LSFN as we delve into the impact of COVID-19 on labor and employment. Our featured speaker will be Joan C. Williams, an American feminist legal scholar whose work focuses on issues faced by women in the workplace, the beneficial impact of set work schedules and family/medical leave. She currently serves as the Founding Director at the Center for WorkLife Law and is a Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
Each week the LSFN will host a funder roundtable to facilitate funder-specific discussions around the ways in which COVID-19 is impacting the populations served by legal services organizations, and the legal aid organizations themselves. Additionally, we'll discuss legislation being considered to help highly impacted communities, provide information on helpful tools, and explore strategies for funders to support those most affected.
