About
Weekly Focus: Salena Copeland, Executive Director-Legal Aid Association of California (LAAC), will discuss:
- Funding Gaps - What's not currently covered by state and local programs
- Restrictions - Will highlight what the funds can’t be used for at the current time
- Why an organization might not apply for state or local programs
- Anticipated needs of organizations in 6 to 9 months
Each week the LSFN will host a funder roundtable to facilitate funder-specific discussions around the ways in which COVID-19 is impacting the populations served by legal services organizations, and the legal aid organizations themselves. Additionally, we'll discuss legislation being considered to help highly impacted communities, provide information on helpful tools, and explore strategies for funders to support those most affected.
