The Crisis in Ukraine: Legal Services Insights, Response & Opportunities to Assist Refugees
“It is the obligation of every person born in a safer room to open the door when someone in danger knocks.” - Dina Nayeri
Over the past weeks, we've watched as millions of Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes, putting borders between themselves and those they love, all in search of a safer room. Currently nearly 3 million refugees have fled Ukraine, with total estimates potentially exceeding 10 million. We're facing one of the most significant refugee migrations in our lifetimes, and we need to be prepared to open our doors. We invite you to join us on March 31st as we provide insight regarding the refugee crisis through a legal services lens, discuss responses, and share ways you can assist now, in the near future, and the longterm.
